Liberty ex player, OU fan, Oklahoma resident, Seth Littrell Fan - rooting for FAU because I hate UCF ( big rival when I played at Liberty FCS in early 90’s ) and it gives OU better SOS as well as UNT. IF you guys whip us like you should, rooting for you to make a New Years Bowl. Mason Fine gets a lot of sports talk radio around OKC, and well deserved - great kid. As for Liberty game - I would tune in ( even the one guy on this board who refuses to watch based on Non Tenured profs at LU - really? ) ha ! We have some athletes, an O Line that is decent and a D Line that is dramatically different than a year ago due to injuries and upgrades. 1 corner u can pick on and 2 good safeties, 1 good LB and another so so. Our O has 4 ( 3 starters and a solid backup slot ) that are very talented - an RB with Speed ( averaging 7 yds a carry ) and 2 more that can play pretty well. Our QB ain’t too shabby... Student section that is really loud right behind your bench and a week off prior to you traveling a long ways after a week of euphoria and media telling you how great you are. As for Army - our O left 28 points on the field - go watch YouTube - full game is on there if you really want to scout. Army just beat Hawaii. Just because you haven’t heard of us - we can be a tough out - ( our M O is to beat the best team on our schedule every year and lose to the worst 2 ). All of that said, UNT has performed the most consistently on all 3 phases of the game of ANYONE in CFB - so if you do that in 2 of the 3 phases this week, you will be fine - just don’t have an off week or take us too lightly. Love the enthusiasm of your board and the recent success and $ coming in - really impressed with your 2019 recruiting class - Littrell is the man and as an OU homer, will root for him wherever he ends up ( or for your sake stays ). Worst of Luck...

UCF is going to run the table. I’ll get downvoted for saying it; but they are that good.

I love to drink the kool-aid but in reality, I'd be happy with a 2 score loss to UNT. As I said in another thread, you guys are definitely the best team to ever be hosted in Williams Stadium (being the second ever FBS). I hope its an experience builder for our guys and that there are no injuries to either side at the end of the day. I hope all that go to Lynchburg enjoy the gameday atmosphere, I'd love to see the new stadium but haven't had a chance to go to it yet!

IMO, the best part was Littrell in the post game flatly stating the Offense was not up to the standard and was not dominant.

On my ESPN app in New York City while in town for work!!! Sidenote, I was wearing a North Texas shirt at the bars yesterday and at every bar I went people talked to me about our team this year. Especially when they showed the punt return on ESPN before the UCF game. Kudos to our marketing folks and our team for kicking ass.

First three episodes were uploaded to the MeanGreenSports account on YouTube yesterday.

For those of you with Directv it looks like they will show it on their ESPN college Football extra channels. Right now it's listed on channel 790. I generally fly through some of these games on the weekend because they have a lot of really odd games and some big ones too and in my experience it's just the ESPN3 feed but on one of their channels. Nice for me because then I'm not relegated to watching the game on my iPad or ESPN app on DTV. Just an FYI. Go Mean Green!

Admittedly I missed a bunch tonight, but from what I saw their defense doesn't tackle. At all. They are night and day from last year. OC and DC losses are looking significant.

Yeah that's a bit of a bummer but its totally possible to have a great time and not drink the boozy stuff 😉. I actually got through all 4 years without a single drink 😅. If you're able to grab dinner after or lunch before id recommend Robin Alexander's or Rivermont Pizza. Both great places to grab a drink. Also Macado's is across the street from the parking lot. Agreed with everything stated. I will also add that I am proud of Ashton Preston. Young man isn't starting and has fallen off of the two deep his senior year, which has to be tough, but he is out there supporting his team and representing the program with class and character. Proud of him. Question, who was the young man reading the books with Shanbour?

I'm torn. Obviously we want the team focused on the current game and to trust the process, everyone do their jobs and the wins will come and the 100 other phraes. But,,,, I can't forget the "woodshedding" we got twice last year. So I am hoping the coaches are preparing, scheming etc. on how to win the FAU game right now. I'm watching a game between 2 group of 5 teams from FL because it impacts UNT. Not something I was doing just 2 yrs ago. Thanks coach. GMG.

Just to put our momentum and growing exposure in perspective, today's game at Liberty is going to be broadcast on SiriusXM, and it shows to be our announcers. I don't recall the last time that's happened during the regular season. Oh, and..... N....O...R...T...H...

I just can't root for FAU. Kiffin makes that too difficult to do. I know we want them with a good record and all, but I just can't.

We watched most of that game on the video screen from under our tailgate tent with two fire pits going, wearing coats, wrapped in blankets, and with ponchos over the top. Still froze our asses off. Pretty sure we ran into the stadium and on the field when we won.

They've taken a step back at the QB position but they still got it in the trenches.
