I was surprised to hear that the cost of the remodeling would be almost twice the cost of our entire new stadium.

Sounds silly, but some if it may have to do with the terrain they are working with over there. Very hilly and uneven, and not a lot of space to work with. Two, there's a lot of bad infrastructure that has to be torn up and then re-built. It's a very extensive project over there; and like North Texas, they are lucky to be building that stadium in this economy.
