Thank goodness "Dodge is scraping the JUCO's" as TFLF stated. Nice pick-up, and I also hope that he is a mid-term signing.

Regarding the video, I keep clicking SUMG's avatar without any luck. Anyone else having trouble viewing this recruit?

nice pick-up as long as he makes it to campus in the Spring.

If not until Fall, please make sure he has a conditioning plan in place we do not have to put him on weight watchers.

I agree. I believe the juco signing date starts Wednesday Dec. 17. It'll be interesting to see if Shavod signs with us...if he retains all three stars.

Wow! After watching the videos, this DT is quick and fast!

Looks like he has the ability to blow up plays even after

handling double team blocking! Looks like a high intensity

player, with a powerful motor!

He is quoted as saying Nov 17th that there's still a chance he could be out in December, but if he doesn't make it at semester he'll definately be out in May and have 3 years to play 2 seasons.

Seems like he'd be the perfect interior compliment to an experienced high-motor, though slightly undersized defensive tackle.

Yeah, he isn't much taller than Booger and doesn't even weigh as much.

Tevinn Cantly, 6-4, currently 310lbs, WTF, a 300+ pound DT now?

Tevinn maybe you need to shed a few pounds!

And now, Shavod Atkinson, 6-1, 316lbs that is very quick and fast!

Kinda reminds me of another quick and fast 300lb DT that roamed

around Fouts field a few years ago!

Lets let him prove that he is eligible, much less that he can compete on this level, before making that comparison. But it is good to see some beef for the D line. It said he was a soft commitment on rivals. Is that old info?

We'll see. The only other school to offer him was Sam Houston State. He'll end up there if he doesn't qualify here. But, we're still beating the I-AAs/FBS schools. That's great news.

In fact, according to Rivals, five of our seven commits had no other D1A offers.
