I haven't seen Upton Stout play any for the WKU defense. I wonder if he's hurt. UAB can't pass and WKU is struggling to move the ball.

This Reed guy (WKU QB) has a helluva arm. Not always the most accurate but he can sling that thing.

The UAB RB Mcbride is a tough RB.

Was thinking the exact same thing. Our running game is legit, man. OLine, TE’s, WR’s ALL block for our RB’s. Total team effort. You love to see it.

UAB also lost their starting QB, so their offense was hampered by that. Depending on how things shake out tomorrow, we have a legit chance at the conference.

I agree the winner this afternoon has a decent chance at the Championship. I’ll go farther and write if the loser plays well the rest of the year, they also have a shot to the Championship game. It’s the top two teams this year.

Legit question. I didn't watch this game, but if both UAB and WKU do not look as good as what the comments in this thread seem to indicate and UTSA squeaked by WKU in San Antonio, do we have a real shot at winning today?

Defense has been playing better the past few weeks. I think we have a shot.
