Is Goatman Bridge in Denton really Haunted?

Yes

There is a history of really weird things happening in that area, not just on the bridge, but in the area predating the bridge. The Sam Bass outlaw gang used the region between Pilot Knob and Pilot Knoll to hide because locals were terrified by Native American stories of a predatory winged monster. Many people were mutilated over the decades with few ever living to describe the thing. Bass's men reportedly shot at something the size of a very tall man but had goat-like horns, wings like a bat, and moved "faster than imaginable". People referred to it as a "gargoyle" for some reason, and then, simply the Goatman.

The disappearances always happened overnight and always to individuals or pairs. People tried to rationalize the attacks as being by black bear or puma because the remains, if any, were always found up in trees. The last carnage was in the early 60's to a pair of campers. All that was found were bloody clothes, and the lower part of the man's leg, far up in the trees along the creek.

The park closed for decades with only the bridge running through it. They reopened the park to daytime use only in the mid-90's when the replacement bridge was built.

I hadn't heard of that bridge until recently, I have no idea.

But I do know I wouldn't step foot in that mansion on the west side of I-35 in Sanger. Apparently it was finally bought a few years ago and expected to turn in to a wedding venue but, again, work has stopped shortly after it started. Everyone who has tried to make something out of that mansion has had something bad happen to them. If you look on reddit you'll see stories of people exploring it and finding evidence of devil worship. You couldn't pay me to go there.
