Just a little recognition for Courtney Finney who is now on the coaching staff at Trinity Valley. Hopefully he works his way up and we see him back coaching at UNT in a few years!

Plus it is another great pitch to give to kid when asking them about what they wanna do for a career... UNT has nearly the entire Sherman HS Staff, UNT players and former assistants have also gotten multiple other coaching after being at UNT.

Jareid Combs got the shout out on the broadcast, but it was Finney that blew up the play on 4th down at Rice.  Watch how Finney comes off the right side to push his man (TE) into Dillard. which causes him to stop long enough for Combs, et al, to come in and clean up.  If Finney doesn't blow his guy into the ball carrier, Dillard picks up that 1st down easy.
