Bodie Reeder managed to "fail" up it seems. I'd definitely consider his new gig as better than his old one in terms of the conference affiliation and recent success of the teams. I stand by my opinion that last year's issues on offense did not fall primarily at his feet. I'm way more apt to blame Littrell for that because the issues the offense had were exactly the same as in the previous year, just worse. Best of luck to him in his future endeavors. I hope he has a successful career elsewhere. i also hope he loses every game his has the ill fortune of coaching against the Mean Green.

Another reason why these P5s aren’t anywhere near being equal to us in the G5. FBS division is absolutely ridiculous to include both groups.

Two ways you can look at it: 1. Littrell is doing what Dodge couldnt do - Fire his friends. The culture at UNT has done a complete 180. This is New Denton. Littrell realized Reeder wasn't a good fit and he did what he had to do. 2. Littrell flinched - Littrell fired his OC after one season. Reeder's offense scored 30.58 points, Harrell's 34.62. So he fires his new OC after one season and after scoring basically only a field goal less than the season before. But Why? My theory is that Littrell realizes he's losing steam nationally a can not afford another losing season. Which ultimately means he's looking to get out of here at some point. This may be obvious to some, but we have some die-hards on here who believe Littrell can do no wrong and that he's going to retire at North Texas. 9 wins and a bowl game victory and I think Littrell is gone.

This year a tad earlier due to scheduling conflicts, but, we have secured the UNT SOFTBALL COMPLEX for our event this year...keep all fingers and toes crossed for good weather this year! Since KICKBALL was such a big success last year...we are doing kickball once again. We will "kick-off" at 11:00am on Saturday, MARCH 21st at 11:00am at the UNT Softball Complex off Bonnie Brae Rd in Denton. Registration fee for player (which includes the "collectors item t-shirt of course) is still only $35.00 per player. This is a CO-ED EVENT, so come one...come all! WE will once again include a silent auction with all kinds of goodies to bid on...UNT and non-UNT items...AND...once again we will have some yummy brisket sandwiches available for those interested. We do have a couple of back-up dates should the weather not cooperate, so please take note of these dates as well...Sunday, March 22nd and Sunday March 29th. I've got a bunch of kids. Unfortunately my best shot at athletes are the two youngest. I've got the 3 oldest step kids wearing UNT gear though... had the 10 year old in football but he wasn't interested. Going to be another 15 years for the two youngest and I'm going to steer them towards non-CTE sports if possible.

Yet the NFL is full of "prototypical" QB's holding clipboards that, to be honest, suck. Maybe if more teams stocked their rosters with "players" other than people who look like players, they would not suck year after year.

Very true. This is one of the reasons I can't understand people that get upset when they talk about a G5 Championship. If anything the gap will continue to grow.

With Luke Kuechly retiring this week I was shocked to read that a few teams were scared off because he wore glasses. He was still drafted ninth but just goes to show there are some morons scouting/drafting in the NFL.

Agree about Deonte. Lots of contribution for a freshman receiver. Darden was the last freshman receiver to produce as much, iirc. Kevin Wood was a productive guy in limited time, too.

I attended the BYU vs Portland game in Provo and the tickets were only $9 for general admission. Did the men’s volleyball game the night before for $6. Kids everywhere, yeah I know it’s Provo.
