MUTS fans giving respect to UNT

MUTS fans on the CUSA board are giving UNT respect due to our history with them. It's refreshing to see.

The MUTS games have always been on my list of favorite games to attend. Always hard fought and competitive. I for one couldn't be happier to be back in a conference with them.

I've always thought of them as a bit of a rival (if it's possible for us to have one).

I've thought MTSU was more of a rival than NMSU when we in the Sun Belt with both of them.

I agree with @hickoryhouse, these game were always on my must-watch-list when the schedules were released.

It was fun when they were basically the team always favored to take our Belt title hopes away. Then we'd deny'm.

Then it seemed like we couldn't beat anybody from Florida. Then Troy emerged. Then Dickey's last two years. Then Dodge. Then Dan McDontRecruit.

Here we are.

I loved the MUTS away game when Booger Kennedy turned a sommertsault over the B-R's QB & came up with the ball. Never saw anything like that ever. Wish I could find it on video.

I always think back to UNT's last year in the belt. They were playing MUTS on TV. Karl Benson came on saying how MUTS was going to be the flagship school of the belt and refused to acknowledge that UNT was on the field. Ass.
