Early this morning, our football team had a workout and barbecue on Crandon Park Beach to conclude our summer conditioning program under the supervision of our strength and conditioning staff. Following the workout, some of our athletes went to rinse off at a designated public shower area and a few of them made a poor decision and changed their clothes in public. I want to apologize to the community and anyone who was at the beach this morning for this unfortunate incident. We are committed to helping our student athletes grow as gentlemen while preparing them for their careers. We are looking into this incident, and if appropriate, will take disciplinary action.

That's f'n ridiculous!

Where's roger Huerta when you need him? This supposedly happened on sixth street and the recipient was a ut football player. However, word on the street was that the lady hit wasn't actually a lady and the player had kissed her/him before finding that out.

YIKES! That "Devil brew" can do funny things to a person's cognitive abilities!!!

As to the FIU players..."if you got it...flaunt it"...I guess! Seriously doubt that anyone was too offended having witnessed first hand what goes on for "clothing" on some of those Florida Beaches.

Coach to players...keep it zipped on the beach guys! Trolling is something we do when fishing...besides you might just catch crabs! Just sayin..... :bbq:
