I really wanted this to be a humorous celebration of fickle sports fandom as we awaited Selection Sunday...despite the loss, I still feel I should go through with this post if not to try and ease all heartache, to at least give myself a sense of cathartic closure on one hell of a crazy season.

I am piss-poor at erasing my texts...despite how some show an embarrassing lack of imbibed judgement...and as such I have "threads" dating back to the beginning of the season with some UNT alums...a few who post on this board and whose anonymity I will protect (though urge to take credit for themselves). Enjoy.

#1: Real college hoop atmosphere in the Pit tonight. Awesome!

CBL: Was that save by Hogans as awesome in person as it looked on the feed?

CBL: JJ told Vito to expect news of a big transfer in a day or two...someone found a story linking Mitchell and UNT and no other potential transfers we've been linked to left mid-term
