So, we go from a coach who allegedly locked a player in a closet and a coach who allegedly struck a player, to one who allegedly committed domestic abuse. Awesome.

Not excusing the charges but they did occur 16 years ago and from the article:

There is a domestic abuse issue in his past with his ex-wife. I'm not sure how big of a deal his incident was or wasn't. I don't want to downplay domestic abuse in any way. But that was in 1994, Iowa State allowed him to stay on board and I'm not sure this incident over 16 years ago should preclude him from coaching at Minnesota.

Agreed, I was merely pointing out the double standard regarding Leavitt.

I'm sure she had it comming to her!...can't we all just get along?...maybe she was a shopaholic or she was having an affair with Leach...locked the kids in the closet.
