I disagree. The lack of NT comments to me show respect. The worst enemy North Texas has its own alum....some, not all.

There are other factors too such as endowments and university classifications. Universities want to be with their "peers". The lowest endowments right now in C-USA are hovering over $80M, Southern Miss, Marshall, and of the new members Louisiana Tech and UTSA. The only school of the old and new that is "Regional" is Marshall. Long story short, I think there are other schools that would better fit the C-USA profile. These two schools are more apples to apples. ODU, National classification, Hampton Roads Market, $170M endowment. MTSU, National classification, Nashville Market, $60M endowment. Oranges App State, Regional classification, Boone, NC, $50M endowment.

There is a sizeable UNT Alum contingency here in DC. This just made attending North Texas games a possibility for us!!! GMG!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the guys on this list are on ours as well. I didn't realize Sean Woods had Texas (TCU) ties.

PS - It's University of North Carolina at Charlotte not the University of Charlotte

AND he is an alum, he went to grad school at North Texas.

I live on the East Coast. No one knows what UNT means, I always say North Texas.
