What will be far more hurtful is next season when SMU comes into Fouts Field and routs us before a large crowd. Mix that in with another rout by La Tech, this time at home, and getting seriously boogered by Texas as well, and we have another fine season we can look forward to! Too early to make such predictions? Ah, it'll be more of the same next year.

I don't know if we'd be favored against Rice right now.

To defend Tulsa...they did go to Hattiesburg and beat Southern Miss. SMU is improving...sadly, we are not.

I am not a statics guy by any stretch, but I would be curious to know if in fact, this team is getting better statics wise since the first game. Dickey seems to think they are, so I wonder what the numbers tell us.

Would also be curious to know how many freshman and sophmores that are playing this year in comparison to the last couple of years, and then also the number of seniors we have that play this year in relation to the last few years. I am so tired of hearing about how we are so young.

Freshmen and sophs are playing because we don't make our kids go to class. A better question is how many kids that could be contributing but are gone because of grades? We have to make the football coach accountable. Rebuilding is an excuse. In this conference we should never be able to use rebuilding as an excuse. Recruit kids that can pass, that want to go to school, and will be there to contribute. Joey Byerly is sorry. He let his teamates down, and he let everyone who donates money for scholarships down. Any kid who flunks out is donating a portion of our donations to Mean Green Club down the drain. IMO!!!!!!
