Well, if this game unfolds the way I think it will, at least the last shred of hope for bowl eligibility will be gone and we can finally put this miserable season to bed.

Why do they consistently look flat and unprepared? Also, we are 10 games into the season, and no one has taught our DBs how to defend a deep ball.

Also, Seth always preaches that our guys need to be the most excited to play. They haven’t looked like the more excited team to play all season long. The body language says it all.

As bad as the D is, we still should have won this game. If Littrell is really some offensive guru, why on earth would he allow a bootleg to the short side of the field with essentially one target option on 3rd and 6 with the game on the line. I’m all for putting it in your best players hands to ice it, but give him something better to work with than that.

The D tries to bend and not break, hoping that you make a mistake like a holding call or an interception or something, but none of that has happened in this game unfortunately. No playmakers on D whatsoever.

One of the most blatant missed holding calls I’ve seen in a while was committed against Khairi on that QB run. Defense has no speed or pass rush to speak of, but wow these refs have been bad.

Seth had beaten Southern Miss three straight years. But man he has looked out of his league this year against programs who are supposed to be considered our peers.

Wow, what happened to this team? So much for dark horse Heisman candidates and coaching staffs that have the P5s lining up. I don’t understand, I really don’t. On a side note, when did USM become that team with fans that boo the whole game, cheer loudly when their offense is trying to convert, and with players that trash talk all game?! I feel like I’m watching a game at Arkansas State or Troy!

I told my wife when it was 21-6 that I didn’t like this. The team has had 4 blowout wins and more publicity than the program has ever seen. They likely got a little too charged up and started believing the hype, even if just for a moment. The small lapse in focus that the coaches are always referring to finally happened and ended up biting us in the end.

This place is right by my house and does just fine in a pinch or when I don't feel like driving over to Buck Snort's in Van Alstyne. Now, if some of that winning tradition could rub off from those Celina and Gunter helmets over to the North Texas one.

This is good news. This kid made big plays against Argyle and Gilmer. Any news on Shane Gerths? EDIT- don't know how to post the tweet, but he's in as well.

Maybe he met a girl while on his visit here who seemed cool at first but ended up being completely against PDA, forcing him to keep his hands away. Then, while visiting his eventual school of choice, he met a girl at the rec center pool who was a diver and was totally down...she was always down. Smart choice. (Sorry to be a first record snob, but thats the only one I really love)
