Lost by 10 to SMU in a scrimmage yesterday afternoon. I think it was played in OKC.

Found this on the K-State fan board. Tylor Perry was 2-8 from 3. I know it is just a scrimmage, but Smut must have loaded up on transfers and be a lot better than they were last year.

Wow - that is hugely disappointing.  Maybe just one bad game?

smu appears to have five transfers on their roster that were not on last year's.

G: B.J. Edwards; 6'3" sophomore transfer from TN.

G: Chuck Harris; 6'4" senior transfer from Butler.

G: Denver Anglin; 6'1" sophomore transfer from Georgetown

F: Tyreek Smith;  6'8" senior transfer from OK St.

F: Ja'Heim Hudson; 6'7" senior transfer from GA St.

Saw that too. Don't look too much into scrimmages. Some teams rest or sit certain key players.

For Kansas State, their top returning starter, Nae'Qwan Tomlin, sat the game against SMU. He was the 3rd leading scorer, 2nd leading rebounder, and leading blocker on last year's team. Now he's been suspended indefinitely following an arrest related to a fight so Kansas State may struggle to start the year until he returns or another big steps up.

Edwards and Anglin have never started at the college level and averaged about 1 ppg their freshmen years. Harris and Hudson are experienced, double digit scorers. Smith has played good minutes the past 2 years although not consistently as a starter. Smith did play 28 minutes against UNT in the NIT last year when he had 5 points, 10 rebounds, 1 block, 2 steals, 1 turnover, and 2 fouls.
