Volleyball Starts Season w/ a Win

Didn't even realize they were playing.

Defeated ORU in an exhibition match 3-0.

They will start their season this Friday at the Buff Invitational in Boulder, CO.  Their schedule for the tournament is as follows:

Friday 8/25 @ 5pm vs. Campbell 

Saturday 8/26 @ 4pm vs. UNLV

Sunday 8/27 @ 1pm vs. Colorado (Colorado Live Stream)

I wonder if Smatresk has an influence in us seemingly playing UNLV in nonconference across multiple sports quite often it seems.

I was at the game when we hosted UNLV last year. They handled us pretty convincingly, a sweep IIRC. Hopefully this will be a turnaround year.

NT sports remains undefeated in the new year of 2023.

Those RPI rankings are from last year. The date at the top was November 26, 2022. However, I still think this is a good win considering based off those last year RPI rankings we were number 114 and they were 24. I don't think they would have dropped that much.

Awesome to sweep UNLV, who swept us in our own building last year. Rice was ranked when we hosted them, too, and we took them to five sets.
