"Hardship Transfers"?

Recommended Posts

Reading on the ESPN site where this young man is looking to transfer to Ohio State from Georgia (basically, he realizes he will not be the starting QB).

It says he has hired an attorney to petition the NCAA for a hardship waiver to play next year (I thought maybe he was from Ohio, but he's from Georgia).

Wondering how they will spin this to get a hardship? But, then it's a major P5 program ....

Too bad he didn't know Jake Fromm was a freshman and the incumbent starter when he signed with Georgia.

One of the GA baseball players apparently hollered a racial slur at him.

However, that player was promptly dismissed from the team, so I don't see how he has a case for institutional racism.

A lot can be learned by sitting out a year. He knew the rules when he signed on the dotted line. Embrace the suck.
