UTSA is ranked 71 and UNT 110 on the nat'l commit rankings. They got a commit from a Ft Worth wide out that we had offered. They run a balanced attack where we run a modified spread! Local kid better offense for him and we loose out to UTSA?? They have won against a number of P5's what is their message? Hope I am surprised on NSD!!

no they haven't

Steward - UCLA, USC, Colorado, A&M

Perry - Colorado, Illinois, Indiana

Harris - Baylor, Georgia Tech

Daniels - Syracuse, Maryland

McLeod - Kansas

Now, that's not exactly a who's who of P5 schools, but it's certainly a good number... and it doesn't include G5 schools that we fail to beat out for recruits, like Boise State, CSU, Houston, SMU.

Frank Wilson is a recruiter.  Some coaches are better recruiters than others.  Wilson was hired because he could recruit.

Just remember, the best recruiter I have every seen at NT was Trilli... so wins don't always follow recruiting success.

How often do wins follow recruiting failure?

But but but...

It's amazing what happens when someone actually looks at tangible evidence and doesn't just rah rah themselves into a frenzy.

Wilson beat Littrell straight up on the field this past year... In a huge game for UNT.

While I think your list is fair for the most part, there is a huge reason the nobody but UTSA will touch Steward regardless of talent level.

But this staff can't recruit, and with you saying it so long it has to be true! I mean Guyton had multiple bigger school offers... and Bradley has Baylor looking at him, among other schools... but i guess this staff can't do anything right according to you. I mean how many of us would have taken, this staff taking a 1-11 team that got blown out by a D2 school, increase the scoring and decrease the points alllowed, and make a bowl game in less than 1 year... But hey since we can't trash the season since it was alot more successful lets trash recruiting!

Boys time to give up on UNT just like UNT90 has!
