7-3 after then defense held at the 10 yard line.  D looking very good, even though MTSU started to find at least some rythm. But UNT at least has them thinking

I know it is early but another week and this team looks again like it has improved.  Getting better every week.

I agree completely. These guys are playing harder and faster every week. Biggest thing the D needs to learn is to WRAP UP! Driving me nuts all these shoulder hits costing 3-5 extra yards.

7-6 currently ball again with UNT. I don't know how it is possible with having so much fewer players, but this defense is looking more and more the equal to 2013s defense.

Mac recruited good defensive players. He knew what to look for. Our issue was his inept offense, and his derelection of duty (not coaching)

If Kenna isn't in the NFL next year it will be a shame. He is the best punter I have watched here at UNT. To me he is better then Toby Gowen (spelling?).

They're starting to pick up the blitzes and our secondary is getting picked apart.

Well, Stockstill puts up 300 on everyone. If we're going to win this, it'll be a shootout. Offense needs to pick it back up.

i continue to be disappointed with our receivers. Very little separation.

This staff has done a very good job at half time so far. My worry is the fatigue of very little depth and a shallow rotation. It was very evident @ Florida late in the 3rd and all of the 4th.

Most of the plays they're calling have checks.  It looked like he got all over Fine for running the Stretch play there with 30 seconds left.  They better have a check to the trips formation they've only run stretch out of because they have us whipped in that formation especially.  Our offense has a LONG way to go.  Defense got shot in the foot by a few stupid penalties, however I thought they played really good overall aside from the last drive.  They're flying around and making tackles in the open field.   MUTS offense averages 500 yards of offense.

Offense is struggling a lot. D is playing well but need some help from the O. It feels like the dyke has sprung a few leaks and may be on the verge of busting. I hope I'm wrong....

We desperately need a serious Brelan-like playmaker on this team. Willy Ivery fits the bill.
