Back in 2012, Southern Miss hired a coach, named Ellis Johnson, who promptly led their team to an 0-12, after they signed him to a 4-year $2.8 million contract. Their response was to fire him, as deserved, and pay out the $2.1 million he was owed.

In 2015, it is highly possible that our coach, in his 5th year, will go 0-12 or 1-11. He will have three years left on his contract after this season, which is worth about $2.1 million dollars.

Southern Miss will likely win the west this year. They are a totally different team than two years ago. Nothing to be optimistic about.... We get killed!!!!!

Their line has allowed 12 sacks through 4 games 3 of which came against Austin P so I say lets pin our ears back and get after that QB

And the way they funded that was to sell a home game back to Nebraska and turn it into a road game.

Because of all the bitching by 'someone' on here about 5 game home schedules, RV went an filled up our dance card for the next several years ensuring we will have 6 home games. So now we can't sell ourselves to another P5 for money.

Thanks 'someone', you are the reason our hands are tied.
