Were the green helmets worn in practice not the same ones used during games? I thought they apply the decal the week before the first game? Or are they completely separate helmets all season?

pretty sure they are separate helmets... It would be cool if they replaced the practice greens with the old game greens and used the white helmets as part of the away uniform.

I think this poor guy was born with a misshaped skull and his parents are making him wear this to get things back to normal.  It's not nice to stare.
