If you don't think a good crowd can help the home team, then I don't even know.4 points

The produced game day experience has felt frozen in time for multiple decades now. Really thought Wren was gonna invest in it, then had hopes for the next regime and now I just hope we finally get mops. I still remember the high of the RV memorial replay monitor coming in after the UTA loss and can’t wait to feel that way about some piddly little push brooms.4 points

His dad was all conference in 1988, and I think played only one year. The 1988 team included Tony Worell [sic?] and went to Utah for NCAA Sub -Regional's as a 16th seed where we were matched against North Carolina. My 8th grade son and I flew with the team and had a great time. The Mavericks were in town and we saw them play the Jazz.3 points

It warms my heart to get so many on board with this. I am starting communication with the AD to see how I can donate these. I am assuming the logo needs to be a certain one. I have been looking at gamemop.com.3 points

We really need this one before the losing stretch gets out of control. And it comes against a school leading the AAC. Hopefully our fans show up -- need a big crowd.2 points

I think Baltimore is a great place for him. They signed him out of UNT. He played for them and he coached for them after retiring. Wish him all the success.2 points

Edwards' 37 was 53% of our points v. Tulane. his 22 this half is currently 71%.1 point

This study was done comparing home records and foul calls in the season around the pandemic vs in 20-21 when there weren't many/any crowds. There was definitely a difference.1 point

While I agree that they don't look good, they still have enough time to turn it around. And the talent to do it. But as the announcers mentioned, an automatic bid is in question for them given the recent bad losses that they've had.1 point

This is the problem the Portal and NIL has created. Constant roster makeover. Players leave if they are not starters instead of working their way up the depth chart. It's the want-it-now society.1 point

So we can prick them all we want too but the football coaches have recruited very well using "DALLAS" as a tag, and I expect the basketball team will as well. And do we have "PONY" envy? I don't understand our propensity to create SMU dialog as if we were jealous junior high students.1 point

Man, I’d feel a lot better if we had Jackson and Moore back. We’ve brought in two that are already on campus, right? Langley and Shipley. Expecting a true freshman to contribute is not crazy, but it’s a tough ask. Hoping we have plans to bring in at least one more for the 2 deep.1 point

Baltimore is neck-and-neck with Memphis in terms of crime rates. BUTTTT, that's irrelevant, because Orr took this job over another offer. He likes Baltimore and I'm happy that he's happy.1 point

I'm curious how this affects to ACC and the Big 12. Are they on the outside looking in as well?1 point

Send your ideas to the AD, although I would leave the part about the piglets out. Oh and don’t replace them with baby eagles. That could be a mess. Seriously though, send them in. It can’t hurt.1 point

I can't tell if this talk of Buggs is a joke or ignorance. even stretching it back to his 0-fer against Boise, he's 19-41, or about 46% from three (and a kinda funny 1-5 from 2). that's fantastic. his 16-23 before the FAU miss isn't sustainable and this is why we use percentages.1 point

As a CFL fan I don't think Mason Fine has gotten enough of an opportunity. A lot of the time he was brought in, things were hopeless.1 point

My youngest daughter recently graduated from Arkansas (and yes that game I had lots of friend and family with us, but that’s another story). Her boyfriend’s mother and husband are huge boosters. So last year and just recently we were invited to join them in their suite for Saturday bball game. And while watching the game I am taking notes why their game day atmosphere is so electrifying and fun. My thought is IF WE COULD DO 50% of this it would be a game changer for the students and guests * lots of families, so groups are 4-5 * band - big deal, I counted around 70. They are playing all pre game. Anything from classics to Ozzy. Really loud and with pump up music. They take an entire corner section * the announcer is a professional. He is on all pregame with getting the crown into the game at all times. The guy is great at what he does. Makes a difference at lulls. * they call the hogs we have the north Texas chant * lots of stuff going on in the corridor. They sell memorabilia and stuff. This last game they had piglets for kids to hold, very popular and looked fun. * light show was cool and entrace My main thoughts was the atmosphere was hyped and fun. The most the game but guarantee the crowd was upset but still had a great time. These items seem doable but my goal would be to enlarge the band. I know this may be hard but it is the pulse of the arena. Sure if they get to play cool songs the musicians sound like to be a part of it1 point

What we need: 1. A healthy Noland. 2. A healthy Allen. 3. A more aggressive Sissoko around the rim. 4. Moore and Cotton crash course prepared to play. 5. Forget his name right now, but the JUCO from Kilgore to do something. These wasted scholarships are ridiculous. 5. Play our defense the entire game. 6. Buggs to rediscover his stroke. 7. A healthy Noland and Allen.1 point

I will always believe that without the base of quality players Todd Dodge built we do not win that 2013-14 HOD bowl. I also think he had a hand in getting DATCU stadium built despite many saying that he had zero to do with it.1 point

Hope Stone can still go back to Abilene Christian and get a chance to play. Don't see that happening at UNT with the two transfers coming in. Seems like a great teammate.1 point

Rally house? They seem to stock their racks to the absolute brim with every team they carry. The pricing isn't great, but it's not awful either.1 point
