TM got assigned to Grand Rapids of the DLeague & made his debut last night. It's a good move because he wasn't able to get any minutes with Detroit. Had a pretty good 1st game :

Chris jones is also averaging 12.8 points and 5.4 assists through 5 games this season with the angelo state rams. Decent numbers there.

Great move. He can get some run down in the D league. If things keep going how they are in Detroit, they may give him some PT later in the year because they don't appear to be much of a threat to make the playoffs.

It is somewhat common when team is in close proximity to the NBA team to see frequent moved like this - send him down for actual game time...call him up so he can participate in NBA practices with the main coaching staff.

Another game last night, finished with 11 points (on only 4 shots) and 8 rebounds. Seems to be playing well, hopefully if the Pistons stick with their trajectory this year he will get some NBA minutes.
