Their offense really hasn't looked good all year. Especially their passing game. Wide open west division. If our defense can pick things up we have a good chance, somehow. Long season.

UTEP is bad but the wildcards you must still play are Rice, UAB, UTSA (yes I think they are better than their record shows) and UAB who is a lot better than last year.

I will congratulate Tech on a nice turnaround though and you are in the drivers seat for the West if you take care of business.

This conference confuses me more and more each week. Utsa losing, FIU winning, FAU losing, ODU getting dominated and then UAB going into west Ky and winning. I literally don't know what to expect anymore.

Even making the huge assumption that we win out, we still need La Tech to lose two games (unless we get into multiple way tie scenarios). There's still a lot of football to be played but It doesn't look terribly promising.

La. Tech has played 2 league games. They have 6 to go.

They won't even approach the car until they are 6 games through conference play.

UTSA is learning the hard way regarding scheduling above their head to appease their fans. Those same 'fans' are now jumping ship and ridiculing the team based on their record. Just read their fan board for confirmation. Have not paid enough attention to know if they are banged up or if teams are just starting to figure them out. Losing Soza was obviously a big blow. He made their team go last year. They may really start feeling the pain in the next few years when they are finishing all the 2 for 1 P5 agreements they signed.

They are entering a critical stage. They really need some wins to establish their foundation or their shine may start to wear off. Looking forward to the game this season. Leaning toward making the trip in November.

QB play. We are pretty much in the same position you guys were with Williams/Greer a couple weeks ago.

A RS senior has been starting and been horrible for the most part. We are all calling for the true freshman who has outplayed him in games where they both saw action. He was Rutherford's and Goree's QB at Carthage.

Don't make things up. This completely blindsided us after the first two games of the season, so we are understandably disappointed but nobody is jumping ship. Has nothing to do with OOC scheduling either IMO.

UNT UTSA will be a war at the end of the season whether anything like a title or particular bowl game rides on it. We will both be more consistent and this - we don't really like each other so the Green and Orange are going to bring it.
