Walk-Ons

This is not complete but below are the better walkon candidates that I pulled from earlier postings:

Cade Carter 6-3 223 TE Lucas Lovejoy

Erick Evans 5-9 175 RB Seagoville (Air Force)

Andy Flusche 6-3 235 LB Muenster

Lloyd Fraction 5-10 187 S Arlington Seguin

Jake Smith 6-0 200 LB Denton Guyer

John Wood 6-5 205 LB Whitesboro (Oklahoma State)

There are a few others but these are likely the superlatives.

Erick Evans is the brother of Senior transfer Zed Evans and averaged 10 yards per carry his senior season at Seagoville High.

Andy Flusche was a first team All-State linebacker in Class 1-A.

Lloyd Fraction is raw but has great speed; timed 4.41 for the forty.

Jake Smith turned down a UTSA offer. He had 63 solo tackles as a high school senior.

John Wood was a 1st team All-State player in Class 2A as a senior. He walked on at Oklahoma State last year and since he was not recruited and did not play does not have to sit out a year.

Unless he carried the ball only 10 times, that's pretty impressive. I wonder how much eligibility he has left.
