Next CUSA addition?

I find a couple of interesting items - Is our news release (NT) on CBS the first "official" announcement with LA tech being rumored as the next one? Any others being mentioned in the national press with upcoming announcements?

Ya I'm thinking of a certain school in the UT system. To our south. Hopefully not being on any announcement anytime soon relative to CUSA.

According to this article, C-USA will be adding six schools, North Texas, FIU, LaTech, UTSA, Charlotte, and Old Dominion. Here is how it appears the divisions will break down, "When completed, Conference USA's new 14-team league is expected to be split into two divisions: East - East Carolina, FIU, Marshall, Southern Miss, UAB, Charlotte and ODU; West - Louisiana Tech, North Texas, Rice, Texas San Antonio, Tulane, Tulsa and UTEP."

If that is true, our division opponents would all be in Texas, Louisiana, or Oklahoma. How great is that?

I don't think we will have to cross the Mississippi for any divisional games. :D

Glad to see many posters are ready to take over for the SMU elitist snob attitudes.

This is a great move for UNT, but also ups the ante on all the programs to improve. Football on down
