And that's the cream of the crop. The point is that it doesn't matter how bad we are, its time for conference play! We're as good as everybody else we play this year, which is just the way we like it. Our sights are set on 7-5 and another berth in the NO Bowl. Our coaches can roll out the speeches about overcoming adversity and their naysayer fans, and we're all happy.

It's endless mediocraty from here out. Let's strap in and enjoy the ride! dry.gif

There is no cream in this crop. After this week, it is doubtful that there'll be any SBC member ranked better than 100. There were three last week but all lost big-time this week.

We've been stomped by #57 and #78 but that seems to be okay with everyone. We keep racking up those big, moral victories. I thought that the conference was improving but nothing has changed. Oh, maybe Troy and FIU have improved slightly but that's about it. I pity the SBC in the NO Bowl; the only CUSA teams that we might could beat won't be close to eligible.

This is just how far College football has watered itself down. That a conference as bad as the Sun Belt, actually has a bowl game for the winner of it. Sad state of affairs.

So why even follow a team in this "sad state of affairs" conference. This is part of the problem, not the solution.

Were you so embarassed this conference "actually had a bowl game" when NT was going to it every year and we were all enjoying the greatest level of consistent success in the school's history?
