  1. This is from a website called kickology.com, take with the necessary grains of salt Most Consecutive Extra Points Made Game: 15—John Kincheloe, Portland St. vs. Delaware St., Nov. 8, 1980 Season: 73—Jarod Brown, Old Dominion, 2012 Career: 151—Adrian Mora, Ga. Southern, 2008-11
  2. The whole #17 (pepperoni) with lettuce, mustard and tomato has been the go-to since 1980.
  3. 59% of voters think that our ranking is too high. I thought that was pretty funny....
  4. And brackets across the country are destroyed. Way to go MTSU...
  5. Not backing down in crunch time . Way to represent the conference, MUTS!
  6. I thought Cody Spencer went to the combine in 2005, but still wasn't drafted....
  7. I'm trying to come up with UNT/NTSU players that have played in the Super Bowl. I have Joe Greene, and Brian Waters with the Pats in his last season. I'm blank after that. Anyone else?
  8. At least we own the Blocked Shots statistic...
  9. Never seen two teams less interested to be on the field..
  10. It is on in Arlington through UVerse on channel 1711. Found it just in time to see the first touchdown.
  11. Root for: Maryland --daughter is an alum. And with the Big Ten network, I can actually keep up with their programs far better than UNT (sad to say) TCU --wife teaches there Syracuse -- always loved Syracuse basketball Root against under all circumstances: Texas A&M, Baylor, Duke, Clemson, SMU, Michigan State
  12. Johnson also probably hurt himself a little by posting only five bench reps. The lowest total among the 23 tackles at the combine was 16. A little? I'm going to call this the grossest understatement I have read in a long time.
  13. Arlington Lamar Fred Jackson, Buffalo Bills RB. Interestingly, he didn't start in High School and went to the NFL via Coe College in Iowa. Other NFL players: Scott McGarrahan, Mitch Willis, Bobby Sign Shawn Walters should have been in the line of great USC running backs, but he got caught taking money in the 90's and his career dissolved
  14. Our last BB win over a ranked team was in 1971 over Louisville. And this was the first time NJIT had ever played a ranked team.
  15. Yup. You think Denton, Texas is a hard place to recruit, try Huntington, West Virginia...
  16. I found myself in the "bad" day picture at Fouts, too funny. That was against Army, where we gave the game away on a blocked field goal in the last 4 minutes when we were inside the 5 yard line. I'd like to have a picture of me smashing my construction helmet into the metal bleachers and scaring the crap out of everyone left in the section. Good times, good times....
  17. Maryland has a ton of speed in the skill positions, and Indiana couldn't keep up. Might be a situation where DW makes a big difference...
  18. Moot point, they won't be undefeated after we beat them in the C-USA Championship game.. Seriously, I don't see any way the big 5 conferences are going to let anyone else into the playoff system. We are at the beginning of the Golden Rule in college football: they have the gold and they make the rules. The rest will be lucky to hang on to the bowl tie-ins currently in place.
  19. This is a saber-metrics site that has us at #41 and ahead of UT. I don't claim to understand the science, but I like the end result.. http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/ncaa
  20. I was there. The Navy/TV side was full on the lower level, about 40 percent ful in the second level. The MUTS side was about 60 percent on the lower, and a very small amount in the second and third levels. The sun was shining on the Navy side so people moved there to stay warm, which also made it look better on TV.
  21. There were possibly 20,000 in Amon Carter. MUTS brought 2-3000, Navy 8000 or so, the rest were scattered. If that is announced as 40k, we'll be able to announce 65k
