INJURY?

Damn, I'm starting to feel injured myself with all of this nonstop injury crap. I would like to blame it on the coaches or conditioning, but I guess it's just bad luck. rolleyes.gif

I blame it on the heat and these kids are playing on a "turf" field that has core temps. in the 120-130 degree level a little more natural grass might help.

Well, all anyone could talk about in the pre-season was how deep our WR's and LB's were, now we are going to find out if they are right.

Sure as hell wish we didn't have to find out, and just could have taken everyones word on it.

Agreed. It takes the wind out of opening day a bit, doesn't it?

DMN says Graves will miss first 3 games of season.

Maybe DD needs to start reigning in on the full contact. Either the practices are not controlled enough or we have a bunch of soft players coming back from summer who are prone to injury.

Not sure you can say a severe sprain to the MCL or tear is due to being soft. Not to mention Graves has always been in great shape and I believe the reports this summer were that he had never looked better.

While it's a big, big loss I think Colt Mahan will step up.

I hate losing players to injury, but I dont think that cutting down on full contact practice is an acceptable answer.

Are you joking?

You know, criticizing the coaches about things they have control over is fine. Don't like the play calling? Fine. But it is ridiculous when people blast the coaches because players get hurt, don't take care of business in the classroom, or have personal issues and quit the team.

Take it with a grain of salt - at least none of our players are pregnant tongue.gif
