Not sure what the point is of having an exhibition scheduled 6 games into the regular season?  Maybe they were all that we could find?  Do we gain anything from this except to maybe get the backups some court time (which I'm all for)?  The Towson game was basically an exhibition.

Vegas didn't think the Towson game was an exhibition. We were only 4 point favs.

It is an exhibition for Angelo St and a regulation game for NT.

This has been going on for years, although it been a long time since NT participated in this type game.

It was created to help D1 schools fill their early schedules with easy games.  Because it seems few want to play difficult away games without a big check.

The lower classification school gets a payday and it does not count on their record.   A highly motivated lower class team versus an overconfident buy a win team has resulting in embarrassing upsets.

Angelo State (3-1) beat Arlington Baptist today 111-68.  They made 16/28 3-pt shots and had 6 players in double figures.

This was a 5pm game Saturday in San Angelo, to be followed by our 2pm game Sunday in Denton.

Wow, that is very close in scheduling. Is that normal at that level?
