  • The Mean Green win in the teams’ 25th all-time meeting cuts Tulsa’s lead in the all-time series to 17-8 and its advantage in Tulsa to 11-4.
  • UNT’s captains for the season are Stone Earle, Febechi Nwaiwu, Mazin Richards, Logan Wilson and JP Hadley.
  • UNT entered the game 3-0 on the season when winning after three quarters and 0-7 when trailing after three quarters and led 35-21 going to the fourth quarter.
  • The UNT defense registered three sacks in the game, marking the first time this season they have notched multiple sacks in consecutive games, and tied their season high, which came in the Temple win.
  • UNT now has 30 touchdown passes on the season, which is the fourth-most in school history.
  • The 593 total yards for UNT marked the sixth time this season to eclipse 500 yards, which extended the program record for a single season.
  • The Mean Green had two 100-yard rushers in Oscar Adaway III and Ayo Adeyi, marking the first time UNT has had two 100-yard rushers in a game since Oct. 15, 2022, against LA Tech when Adaway III and Adeyi both eclipsed the century mark.
  • Junior quarterback Chandler Rogers (Mansfield, Texas) made his ninth start for the Mean Green and finished the day with 294 yards and three touchdown passes on 19-of-31 passing.
    • Rogers now has multiple touchdown passes in nine games this season, including eight of his nine starts.
    • Rogers now with 2,979 yards this season, which is good for sixth place all-time, and he needs just 21 yards to become the fourth player in program history to throw for 3,000 yards in a single season
    • Rogers’ 41-yard touchdown run with 10:46 left in second quarter was his fourth of the season and 10th of his career.
    • Rogers’ 59-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Smart with 13:08 left in the third quarter was the 50th of his career and 26th of the season, which put him in a tie for fifth on the program’s single-season touchdown pass list with Mitch Maher (1994).
    • Rogers’ 25-yard touchdown pass to Landon Sides with 0:57 left in the second quarter was the 49th of his career and 25th of the season.
    • Rogers’ 10-yard touchdown pass to Damon Ward with 7:07 left in the first quarter was the 48th of his career and 24th of the season.
  • Junior running back Oscar Adaway III (North Little Rock, Arkansas) finished with 126 yards on 16 carries and a touchdown and had three catches for 26 yards.
    • His 77-yard touchdown run with 9:56 left in the third quarter was his sixth on the year and 14th of his career.
    • His 126 yards is a new career high and gave him his first 100-yard effort of the season and the sixth of his career.
  • Junior RB Ayo Adeyi (Mansfield, Texas) finished with 16 carries for 121 yards.
    • Adeyi’s 121 yards gave him his sixth 100-yard rushing effort this season, which is eighth in program history and eighth of his career, which is 10th in program history.
  • Junior WR Damon Ward, Jr. (Beaumont, Texas) finished with three catches for 41 yards and a touchdown.
    • Ward’s 10-yard touchdown reception with 7:07 left in the first quarter was his fifth of the season and 10th of his career.
  • Sophomore WR Ja’Mori Maclin (Kirkwood, Missouri) finished with two catches for a team-high 61 yards.
  • Junior WR Blair Conwright (Lubbock, Texas) finished with two catches for 40 yards.
  • Freshman WR Landon Sides (Denton, Texas) finished with two catches for 31 yards and a touchdown.
    • Sides’ 25-yard touchdown reception with 0:57 left in the second quarter was his second of the season and of his career.
  • Junior WR Jordan Smart (Round Rock, Texas) finished with a catch for 59 yards and a touchdown.
    • Smart’s 59-yard touchdown reception with 13:08 left in the third quarter was his first of the season, second at UNT and 10th in his collegiate career.
  • Senior WR Roderic Burns (Houston) finished with two catches for 18 yards.
    • Burns now has at least one catch in 39 of his last 41 games.
  • Redshirt freshman DB Patrick Smith (Sugar Land, Texas) finished with team-high 10 tackles, including seven solo stops.
    • Smith became the third freshman in as many weeks to lead the Mean Green in tackles.
  • Junior DB Logan Wilson (Dallas) finished with two tackles - both solo stops – and an interception.
    • His fourth-quarter interception was his first of the season and third of his career.
  • Junior LB Jordan Brown (Huntsville, Texas) finished with four tackles, including two solo stops, and a QB hurry.
  • Junior DB Ridge Texada (Frisco, Texas) finished with four tackles, including two solo stops, and two pass breakups.
    • His second pass breakup in the fourth quarter gave him 28 passes defended in his career, which is tied with Kemon Hall for fourth all-time.
  • Junior DB Nick Nakwaasah (Dallas) finished with five tackles, including three solo stops, 2.5 tackles for-loss and a sack.
    • Nakwaasah entered the game with no tackles for-loss on the season and only two in his career (both at Central Arkansas).
  • Freshman DB Brian Nelson II (Pearland, Texas) finished with two tackles, including a solo stop, and three pass breakups.
    • Nelson’s three pass breakups were the first three of his career.
  • Senior LB Carson Kropp (Owasso, Okla.) finished with four tackles, including two solo stops.
  • Junior DB Phil Hill (Spring, Texas) finished with four tackles, including two solo stops.
  • Senior DL Mazin Richards (Burleson, Texas) finished with five tackles, including four solo stops, a sack, and two tackles for-loss.
    • His third-quarter sack was his third of the season and gives him 31.5 in his career.
  • Redshirt freshman LB Ethan Wesloski (McKinney, Texas) finished with five tackles, including three solo stops, a sack and two tackles for-loss.
  • Senior kicker Noah Rauschenberg (Tulsa, Oklahoma) went 5-for-5 on extra points.
    • Rauschenberg is now 42-for-42 on extra point attempts this season and is 13-for-16 on field goal attempts. He needs one more made field goal to crack the single-season top-10 in UNT history.
