I don’t care what they know. I agree with The Sicilian. Formally request entry and make them reject us. They owe it to the donors and fans.

A few years ago, when the Big XII was looking at two new members to possibly join the league and get it back to 12, a lot of teams submitted their resume to get consideration. Teams like BYU, Cincy, Memphis, UH, SMU, Tulane, Tulsa, Boise State, AFA, Colorado State, and even, Arkansas State all felt it was worth the effort, even if it was DOA, just to show their supporters they believed in the program. Of course, ESPN and Fox then came in and paid the other 10 more money to not take anyone. 

Any guesses on how UNT approached that? Hint...think old Denton
