Maybe they are better with Hicks throwing the ball than the other quarterback running. 

Right after I type that HIcks throws an interception in the end zone.

Interesting to see that SMU and Baylor are in a close game in the second qtr... SMU up 6-3... still early, but it might give us an idea of where our team stands

SMU looked very solid against Baylor in the first half. Some flukey plays going both ways, but they've been very solid overall; now let's see who makes adjustments for the second half!

Baylor looked pretty bad in the first half but seem to be waking up.

They are.  20-7 in the 3rd quarter alone.

Heading into the 4th, it is currently 26-13.

I chalk that game up to Baylor sleepwalking early.  Nothing about it tells me that SMU has somehow turned some corner.

I watched most of this game yesterday, and it appeared SMU was sand-bagging in their game with us. I saw many different offensive formations and plays that they did not show against us-same with their defense. I hate to see anyone get hurt, but their game against UNT was costly, their top o-lineman out for the year, qb Matt Davis is said to be out for the season and the running back Xavier Jones that torched us was out for the Baylor game. The freshman qb was a typical freshman, a few good plays then disastrous ones. He should have had at least 2 more td passes.
