Is this just speculation? Does he know but isn't allowed to say whom?

It could be a little of both.  Coach Littler has stated that he doesn't broadcast his injuries unless they are season ending ones.  A few are obvious but none that I saw that were on the first two units.  Some that were on the first two units didn't play but other than Smiley we don't know if they were injured or benched for violation of team rules.

Thanks, I sort of thought that but he said " UNT’s top players " would seem to be interpreted as not only starters but guys like Scott, or Wilson, or McClain. Just struck me as weird. Maybe he can't say.
