I think that's great. It looks as if Guyer will be the leader of locals to UNT. There's nothing wrong with that; Guyer has some great talent. Denton High would also be a source when (or if) they get the talent. Then there's Ryan. They have some great talent also but they seldom acknowledge scholarship offers from North Texas, let alone consider.

Anyway, Thompson appears to be the real deal and we need dynamic defensive linemen. Plus, I believe that we have a very good College of Business Administration. We need YOU, Carl Thompson!

I wonder if Joey Florence had anything to do with that. Maybe not him directly saying "don't go to UNT", but just not as enthusiastic about a UNT offer.

Hopefully UNT's chances with Ryan recruits will be different with Henigan.

FWIW, I've seen Florence at a couple of games at Apogee.
