Former RB from L.D. Bell

Recommended Posts

Any idea if he plans on trying to walk on?

Since they are D-1AA - Patriot Conference - could he walk-on in the fall and, if he has the mettle and the might, play this season?

It's my nephews belief that he will try and walk-on at North Texas this fall. As to the eligibility issue......I'm as baffled about the rules as I am the tax code.

Any idea why he never played at Fordham?

1 game in 2 seasons.

We are pretty deep at RB, can anyone find video of him?

I was thinking the same thing but you put it much more tactfully (than I would have).

Remember, there's a limit of 105 when the season starts and we have Byrd, Jimmerson, Pegram, Lewis, Rollins, E Evans and Wilhite ahead of him and the first five are scholarship athletes. Eric Evans averaged more than 10 yards per carry his senior year and Wilhite has been a squadman for several years and did well in the spring scrimmage. Tough competition.

Konackas is a running back or so I think I read last year. Don't see his name up there.

Konockus Sashington has been moved to running back at least once but he lettered on special teams. I do believe that he has had one carry as a running back though. My understanding is that he was moved to defense where he at least won't be #8 or #9 on the depth chart.

As to his bulking up to play DT, he'd better hurry up because he's a senior.
