Our Team Didn't Give Up

Vizza was rushed on every play....the OL couldn't stop FIU ....he was hit so hard later in the game that a teammate had to motion to the bench that he was out of it....a concusion? (and it was visable to TV viewers) Yet a few plays later he was side by side with his coach wanting to and did go back into the game. Same for Lance Dunbar....hit so hard he was wosey and had to come out.....maybe some of todays posters weren't around when these events happened.

Of course Drake still didn't play, Joseph Miller didn't play. Coleman Feely OL played some for the first time...true freshman, Hollivay, Adams, Kylee Hill played, not sure about Edwards.

Vizza's toughness may be the lone bright spot in this game. He had another signature run where he lowered the boom on a member of the opposing secondary... got knocked silly. looked about as woowsie as you can... and he never stopped giving his all. very impressed with this young man...even with these results.

The lance dunbar hit was scary looking from the stands. one second he is pulling off a big gainer...and next second he is on the ground and not moving with the opposition running the other way with the ball.

you are right the players didn't give up, but if the players did not give up then where does the blame fall.. It is like they are being sent into battle with b b guns and expected to compete... I dont' get it. We have alot of pride on this team Vizza is awesome and Fitz's run after the catch where he backed up juke and gained 30 yds was unbelievable. I isn't that the stabel is completely dry of talent. But for some reason this talent is not getting the oportunities that they need to compete....

So if it isn't the players fault because we all know that they didn't give up, where does the blame go?
