The WORST Invention EVER!

Recommended Posts

Who ever invented these tools of SATAN needs to be shot ASAP!!!!

A Denver fan was behind me the whole night and he NEVER STOPPED!!!! Right now I have the worst headache!!!!

Overall, the best team of the Sun Belt is going to the NCAA's. Denver looked extremely overmatched in the second half.

Denver's cheerleaders get the yuck award. LALA's, man those are some nice looking women! laugh.gif

The only problem I had is that they are not allowed at basketball games, yet were being handed out at basketball games.  Great logic.

That's what I was trying to figure out all through the tourny is that they had to make a announcement on the PA about the fact that the hand clappers that were handed out during the NMSU women's game were not to be used because they were artifical noise makers, but yet the Thundersticks were given out at the door. blink.gif

Thundersticks are a crutch for schools who don't have organized cheers that are used and known by most fans. Just look back to the NO Bowls, especially when we played Memphis. We stood around banging balloons together while their fans kicked our butts because they were loud and had great cheers. Lets ditch thundersticks altogether, educate our fans on a few chants and cheers, and get some cheerleaders who can lead them.

yep, I will admit that the Thundersticks worked effectively for school's that had few fans there at the game like FIU, since they only had their Pep Band there. But when you have a large contingency of fans, thundersticks shouldn't be needed.

I agree. I don't know why the "fight fight fight" cheer won't be at least tried. That would hav been great in the ASU vs. NT 1st round game.

Thundersticks should be called "Thunder-sucks" or "Blunder-sticks" or "Balloon noise making thingys that suck"

Give those things to kids and they can really cause you a headache! They should really be banned worldwide with the exception of Bangkock and Hong Kong....

PS we need a baseball team...

You have to be kidding me on both fronts. The Denver cheerleaders SUCKED!!!!!! They didn't even know their own fight song. On top of that they looked, ummmmm, not very good.

Secondly, Texas A&M doesn't need thunderSUCKS! Kids will give you a headache with them? WHAT???? The guy behind me last night had to be at least 50. He had on a Denver hockey sweater, a Denver rally monkey around his neck, and was carrying around a GO DU sign. During every timeout he would go to the front of the stands and start popping them and chanting GO DU. I started to cover my ears, but he saw that and it encouraged him even more.

Denver had some hot cheerleaders

I really hope you are being sarcastic. The Denver cheerleaders looked like a bad Class A high school squad.

That crazy Denver fan was something else. I would say he was strange, but the more I watched him, the more I thought he would fit right in with us... ph34r.gif

You know what thunder sticks are, IMHO?

They're the new "Wave". Something for fans who aren't really into the game to amuse themselves with. (kind of like morons who still start the "Wave" at sporting events.

I guess we never have enough students for this.......but I love when student sections do that thing where they all bounce up and down at the same time. (Is that called anything?)
