This is the only offer I have seen go out to class of 2021 since the December signing day.

The expectation is definitely that those spots will be used on immediate help guys to defense. That would be transfers and JUCO guys who are about to have their seasons. Unless there are some guys Bennett is eyeing, seems most logical that we watch the JUCO season and offer guys who blow up this spring, which means saving those spots for then, and going with D1 transfers who signing day is irrelevant to.

Hopefully we have a couple more HS recruits who get dropped by their P5 choice and need a place to land and we have been staying in contact. Without a defensive coaching staff for the last few weeks, I highly doubt that.

Just a reminder that the NCAA extended the NLI signing day this year to August 1st, which still gives us ample time to sign juco/transfer guys
