I wanted to share my experience this weekend.  Rather than making the ~hour drive each way from Allen to Apogee, I camped out this weekend at Lake Ray Roberts State Park (Johnson Branch).  Nice facilities and just a short drive north from Denton.  For others that might consider coming in town for games on a budget, this is a great fun option.  

After the game, we hit Babe’s chicken Dinner House in Sanger on the way back to camp.  It was nice to see all the Mean Green fans there.  We even ran into Quinn Shanbour at Babe’s.
