Ignoring the past assures the same mistakes will be made over and over again.

But I guess that is the biggest tradition at UNT, after all.

It is one thing to learn from the past and move forward.  It is another to dwell on the past with an unhealthy focus with blinders on blocking your view of anythi1ng positive.

That past still controls this athletic department. Its like being diagnosed with cancer and refusing treatment and just pretending you were never diagnosed. 

You just die a quicker death.

Ill move on the second Rick Villarreal leaves the AD, and not before.
