What’s UNT getting in Munden?

Harry

Recommended Posts

UNT picked up a commitment from Marshall offensive lineman Chett Munden a few days ago.

Whats UNT getting in the big tackle?

Marshall coach Clint Harper knows better than anyone and believes UNT is getting a steal in the 6-7, 305-pound senior whose best football is in front of him.

North Texas is getting a heck of a football player, Harper said. Chett has a lot of upside. He might grow to 6-8. He has a 16 or 17 shoe. He could get to 340 and not be overweight.

Man, that's what I like! A 6-8, 345 pound (potentially) lineman that can move. This is a good get.

Deep - do you remember in our first Nee Orleans bowl when we played Colorado State? How tall their linemen were compared to ours? We are finally getting there.

One of the things that I like about our recruiting as of late is that we seem to go after a lot of OLs and DLs that not only have potential, but that have shsown a work ethic in the classroom by being a really good students.

Work ethic in the class room should translate to work ethic on the weight room, on the field, and in the film room. That gives these recruits a much better chance at reaching their potential and succeeding at the FBS level.
