In a little piece in today DMN sports section there is a byline that reads "North Texas" on page 6C of the sports section...under that is the little headline "Women's basketball coach is hired".

Imagine my surprise to find that Coach Petersen had left and that no one knew until a new coach was hired? But, wait...the story goes on to say, Tracey Kee.......".

Ha, that paper cannot even get the sport correct. This is not the first time the DMN in recent days has gotten this sort of thing wrong...and not just in the sports section or regarding UNT. But, one has to wonder who is doing the proof reading for these guys these days? Does one have to wonder subscription rates continue to decline?

Good news....UNT got press

Bad news.....DMN screwed it up

Oh well, at least I read it.....
