We are inching toward what will be one of the bigger days in UNT athletic department history.

There has been no official announcement or an announcement that there is going to be an announcement, but I still expect C-USA to announce that it is adding several teams, including UNT, sometime late this week. The problem is that the ball is in C-USA's court. The league will determine when this all becomes official due to the fact that UNT is not going to be the only school to be added to the league. They will all be announced at one time. There is a lot to coordinate.

I haven't posted anything in the way of thoughts on the blog yet. I think it goes without saying how much this is going to help UNT in the long run. C-USA's lineup will bring a whole lot more fans to Apogee Stadium and the Super Pit.
