How is UTEP (the team that aTm stole him from) doing now? Whatever they are doing... that is where we would most likely be.

I think it's a bit of a logic leap to assume that had Billy Gillespie come here we would be in the same situation as Texas aTm. For starters they probably would have hired him away from us just like they hired him away from UTEP. Second, until I see thousands in average attendance at basketball games, I refuse to think he could recruit to NT the way he can to aTm.

The math just doesn't add up.

Fair points some, but the dude really didn't need to recruit much at all. He turned that thing completely around in year one with Watkins' leftovers.
