One of our greatest fans and supporters Rick Herold and the NTEXES are putting together a cool raffle that will benefit UNT Athletics.

Here's the plan, we will be selling a set amount of tickets (probably 250) in the amount of $10 each that will put you in a drawing for a number of very cool prizes.

Rick has already secured some prizes that will be detailed below. If you have some gifts that you would like to contribute to the cause please let me know via email at: hwmiii@sbcglobal.net or pm me here.

There are going to be a couple of ways that you can secure these Mean Green tickets. One, we will be selling them at a booth on Homecoming Saturday in the tailgaiting area prior to kickoff. We will accept checks and cash. If you can't make it to the game, then you can email me with your desire to purchase a ticket and send us a check made out to NT Exes. We are also working on securing a credit card machine that we will have available at the booth on Homecoming.

Here is the current list of prizes which we anticipate will be growing as the week goes on:

Grand Prize---Suite at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie for 20

(includes valet parking, private suite, programs, snacks). And, private

handicapping tips from Randy Galloway. Good for the 2006 throuroughbred

racing season. Value: $1,500

2nd Prize: UNT Football Signed by Joe Green and all the NFL

celebrities at the 2005 Cowboy/Steeler Golf Classic that benefited the UNT at

Dallas Campus. Value: Priceless

3rd Prize: $100 gift card at Texas Land and Cattle Restaurant

4th Prize: 4 Stars Tickets

5th Prize: A Free Night at the Wyndam Anatole Hotel

6th Prize: A Free Night at the Wyndam Hotel Galleria/Dallas

And, other prizes, from golf to gift certificates valued at over $500.

Ok I just received word that 4 Dallas Stars Tickets have been added to the prize list. Our goal is to sell 250 tickets at $10 a piece. All proceeds will go towards Mean Green Athletics.
