North Texas Sunday column: UNT took a long road to find the strength of schedule coach Seth Littrell always does well against.

There are very few conference games, maybe the 2001 MTSU and NMSU games, the 2013 Rice game, and the 2018 La Tech game that have held the importance that the upcoming UTSA game holds.

There may not be a conference championship on the line, we're already eliminated from that, but results of this week's UTSA game may indicate an instrumental moment for our program and it's future.

There's a lot riding on this game for both schools.

According to ESPN the North Texas/ UTSA game was somehow narrowly edged out by Ohio State/Michigan.

Too bad. It would have been fun to watch Lee Corso put on the Scrappy head right up there on The Hilltop in Highland Park. (and yes, you're correct, there is a suburb in Dallas County named after it.)
