Regardless, allowing them a waiver for immediate playing time for transfers as well as unlimited scholarships compared to the capped ones of the rest of us gave them a clear advantage that they took and ran with that. I get that, and I get why people are upset, but you can't really punish them for the greed of the Alabama BoR. IMO.

Being the third best sports school in Alabama apparently has advantages over being in the lower tier in a 12 team state. 

Plus UAB probably have a great edge in coaching.
