FAU?

Watching Houston I think FAU lost their offense that killed us last year.

Based on the first game, FAU’s offense looked similar to last year from a scheme standpoint. The problem against Oklahoma seemed to stem around their Quarterback and his lack of accuracy. Driskel “retiring” from football does not appear to be favorable. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Kiffin tinker with multiple QB’s early in the season.

Driskell learned how to run that offense super fast, the pace of the snaps is what buried people.  New QB doesn't have it yet, and from what i understand the new OC doesn't focus on the pace anywhere as much.

Make no mistake, Motor isn't talented enough to win the conference by himself, but they can win it if the rest of the offense gives him any help at all.

But the hyper speed pace is what's killer. Just running this year's FAU offense is nothing special.

This Houston offense looks more like FAU last year.

They're still as potent as last year it looks like against opponents not named OU (and Singletary still looked good against OU).  Scoring 33 on a team that runs the option and devours clock is still impressive.  Make no mistake, this team is just as dangerous as they were last year.

--- TCU just led SMU by 2 at half [ 14-12 ]..... at one time we led SMU 36-0 (end of Third) .... Makes one wonder how bad SMU is or good TCU is ..and they (TCU) are ranked in top 20. .
