Wait until we give Portland State the licking they so richly deserve.

For me, I don't think anything will punch me in the gut like the winning FG in the 7th OT against FIU.

Normally I would agree, but I don't know that I can until after Saturday.

I would not be bragging about this win unless it was a blowout. I mean, I don't care if they're FCS: 77-3 (Nicholls State last year) is worth talking a little lip.

But really, all it does in the long run is give me a little confidence in the team for UTSA and maybe UTEP.

We should win and it is a win that will not really matter because it is expected. But the fact is at this point we look as if we could easily lose this game and that is the horrifying part, I don't want a 0-12 season ever.

I hope we win because I always want to win but I do wonder what happens if we win. History will tell you we ride that win into more of the same next year. I don't want that.

If we win this game tomorrow, I don't want to hear Coach Mac on the radio being all excited like a used car salesman who just sold his first Geo Tracker. After this game coach, you have a short week to prepare for Western Kentucky on national television.

If you win, coach, congrats! You just did what we call in the real world "showing up for work on time".
Now it's time to show us something. Like a win against a FBS team. Beating an FCS team is expected - not a cause for wild celebration. If you are expecting the crowd to rush the field and tear down the goal post for a win this Saturday, don't hold your breath.

What if they did it ironically? I hear hipsters love to do uncool things ironically.
